I had a problem retaining my clutch cable securely at the Bell Housing of my Middlebridge. I have now gone the kit car Builders route. There are two holes in the clutch lever arm. The smaller one takes the cable nipple. A simple nut and bolt in the bigger hole keeps the cable in place. It doesn't even touch the nipple or cable. A brilliant mod and in my opinion better than the original grommet design, it will never pull out.
