This is a five owner car that started life in Pearl White (M.B. Records) It was in need of restoration in 2003 but since then a neighbours scaffolding has landed on its roof. (Not sure write-off or repair??). She had approx 118,000 recorded miles at this time and I now believe she has since been restored. (Any more detail on this or any other MB would be great).

She was re-painted in her original colour in approx 1998 but is peppered in bubbles already, it is believed the cause is water under the paint and not the infamous micro-blistering.

The now owner of this car has sorted all of the electrical / mechanical gremlins and she is now a reliable daily driver covering approx 12,000 miles a year. (01/08).

I have been informed that MB 30 has been in dry storage for many years, she has been stripped to paint and unfortunately never got completed, the owner has decided to move house and she would lose her garage place so has been put up for sale. [09.04.2021]

MB No 30 has a new owner and within hours of the advert going live! The new owner is very experienced and well-known Scimitar aficionado that knows Scimitars better than most. I do feel quite reassured that she is now in the right hands and that at some point in the future she will make an appearance and return to the fold. She does however have to wait her turn in the restoration queue. We will have to wait and see. [09.2021]
