Middlebridge 37
We have had chassis no 37 (body 34 for those interested) for a year and a half now and I can safely say it is by far and away the nicest Scimitar we have owned. Having said that even though it is a Middlebridge it still has similar electrical problems to the 6b's. Most of these are not insurmountable being mainly earth problems and corroded connections. Most are sorted now but I will admit to having given up with the central locking (factory fitted) which has almost driven me to distraction and is now disconnected. Handling wise it's great. With an anti-roll bar on the back this one sure handles very closely to the 5a. Sort of the best of both worlds really. The car has effortless power and you can easily achieve stupid (and illegal) speeds if you're not careful. You can do the same sort of speeds with the other models (not quite the same top speed as this car) but they do sound rather more busy and you know you're pushing them to get there- unlike the Middlebridge.
My car I will admit, has been bought and put to work with only minimal maintenance/ repairs such as wiring faults, new trunnion bolts, new headlamps and fogs etc. My intention is that once the paintwork starts to need tlc it will come off the road for a full restoration. The idea was to buy and drive and that time hasn't arrived yet.
