This car has been customised by a previous owner and has had electric XJS front seats fitted, the interior has been modified with the addition of various bright metal interior trim components, The current owner is starting to return the car back to its Pre altered condition, This car has a wicked electric sliding Webasto fitted, Which on recommendation from the owner I followed suit. This car has now found a new enthusiastic owner in Germany , I met up with the new owner on route from the North East of England to Germany, and we spoke about his plans for the car and that he would return to the UK with the car and have most of the work done by the following 'Curborough deadline' well the car was at Curborough for the 20th Anniversary and it looked beautiful in it's new paint colour, the interior work although not complete was very professionally done with lots of very thoughtful / useful ideas being introduced. I really do look forward to seeing this car when the interior detail is finished. [16.08.09]

Fast forward to Scimfest 2017 (Curborough) and MB 57 once again made the trip from Germany, on meeting with the owner his enthusiasm for the marque is still clear to see and infectious. He has again been busy further improving his car. I will list just some of the work completed as I know he has many more ideas on further improving her. She's been converted from Auto to Manual but using a MT75 Gearbox, a complete interior re-trim using two tone alcantra and new front classic Recaro seats as dealer fitted to some Middlebridges from new. Custom made centre and roof consoles, custom storage lockers, a Mk1 Golf heater keeps you nice and warm in the cabin, she is also fitted with Montego stalks. Externally she has been treated to a set of wilwood front brakes.
