This year a combined stand was agreed and we were contigious with the RSSOC and the ROC and I must say I felt that it worked very well for everyone. There was much good hearted banter between us all over the three days and we were all certainly kept extremely busy. We decided to display the original Lola racing car as driven by Damon Hill as our centre piece and boy did it draw people to the stand. We also displayed some prime examples of our Middlebridge cars that also received a lot of attention. We had two press visits over the weekend one being a French magazine, I remember a French magazine doing an article last year. As usual the NEC event gives me the opportunity to meet up with relatives who travel from all over to attend the event. ;o)

We pre-booked a car cover fitting / demonstration by Specialised Covers Ltd for the MB's and for the racing car, this drew much attention to our stand. Just seeing the quality and work involved in preparing bespoke covers for both the Middlebridge and the Lola race car soon got confirmed sales of 4 x Middlebridge covers and 1 x Lola race car cover. I also decided to go mad and purchase a Car-Band which is a complete band of impact absorbing material that encompasses the vehicle in a tight-fitting , self-securing band. Making any cover secure giving extra protection while being parked in the garage. Accidentally knocking / scraping my car has been something I have been concerned about for some time and I certainly feel more comfortable working near the car now. http://www.carband.co.uk/ (See recommended section).

Just prior to uploading to the site and PM on the 24th December a large box arrived from Specialised covers. Below are pictures of the finished article. All four Middlebridge covers have been hand made to the same specification and for a great discounted show price.
