Over the past year we have all worked extremely hard to improve our marque's image, status and awareness via this website and by having several good articles published in the Classic Car Press. While promoting our marque at the NEC 2007 I was handed a flyer advertising a totally new event (the Inaugural Disneyland Paris Classic Car Extravaganza) I was quite taken by the flyer and decided to book my holiday in Southern Spain to co-inside with returning via Disneyland.

We arrived at Disneyland at 10.30 after a good drive up from Southern France with the car in dire need of a good clean, we all set-to first the interior, wash the body, clean glass, clean the wheels and finally a quick wax to finish off, it was now 13.00hrs 'car parked and clean' and off we went for a nice meal as payment for the hard labour!!

I returned to the Classic event after lunch in time to see many more cars arrive for the event these included Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Herbie, Back to the future Delorean, many Panthers, many Stags, several Morgans, Ferrari's Lambo's, Porsche's, Lagonda's, Jaguars, Corvette's,MGB, Midget, Escorts, Cortinas, Citroens and many more.

Over the three days I thoroughly enjoyed the event and the Park 'Big Kid me thinks' I returned to the car morning, lunch and evening and chatted away with the other owners, on the third evening a special Wild West night was staged with an award ceremony afterwards, knowing my car was entered into the Sports Car sector which was by far the most hotly contested and the one with the bulk of the exotica in I was shocked when it was publically announced that the very rare Middlebridge Scimitar had just been pipped at the post and was a very close second.

Not only was I very very shocked and suprised I was also very proud that a Middlebridge had at long last been judged totally on it's own merits albeit in another Country. but what a result !!

We can now look forward with confidence in our marque at Classic Car Events in the future both in and out of the UK.
