Silverstone Classic 2011
24/07/2011
Location: Silverstone
For me, this was the event of the year for both the Middlebridge and the RSSOC and a great opportunity to show our cars to a vast audience of true car enthusiasts. We had three Middlebridges on show with one also on the track. This is just the sort of publicity that is needed to further promote our marque in Classic Car circles. Many thanks to Dan Mitchell for bringing his lovely Pre-Production Prototype and to John and Irene Walker for bringing their Concours winning Sage Green Middlebridge that together put on such a great Middlebridge display.
The RSSOC and all concerned also deserve a very BIG thank you as they put on, what I would arguably say was the best stand ever and it certainly paid off with people constantly visiting the stand all day every day. My Gold Middlebridge was on display and also on the circuit with my Son Matt driving and Dan onboard as acting Co Pilot and calming influence ;o) as I was away in Ireland at my Mum's 90th Birthday Celebrations
While in Ireland on the Sunday I received two calls and a picture, these were with regards to my MB on the Silverstone circuit with Matt piloting and Dan Mitchell acting as Co Pilot. By all accounts Dan and quite a few others were surprised at the performance of the Middlebridge on the track and I must say that when I did eventually see the pictures they did look very good, however the one showing my car behind a Lambo' did still have me somewhat worried...
Thank you to all for forwarding the pictures to me.
