Nottingham Heritage Day 2011
11/09/2011
Location: Nottingham
Once again the MESS returned home to Nottingham to celebrate the Heritage weekend and yet again it was a great success. It started with us being invited at the last minute to attend a new event on the Saturday 'Best of Beeston'. I could not attend but Bruce Beachamp took up the challenge and put on a fantastic single car display that amazed us all when we saw the pictures on the Sunday, (See pics).
We all met up at the Market Square for the main event. The main event was quite well attended MB wise and the cars all looked very good neatly lined up in the lovely Market Square Setting along with our camper set-up / hospitality suite at the rear for owners to relax in during the day which flew by with people constantly talking about the cars on display. One thing that always surprises us is the number of people born & bred in Nottingham that even knew that the Middlebridge version of the Scimitar was made in Beeston. I guess we have quite a bit of work to do on this front!
