Middlebridge Scimitar GTE 2.9i fitted with the 5 speed manual gearbox and power assisted steering. I believe that this is the very last factory built car and carries the chassis number 78. Ordered and built for its 1st owner, a retired army officer ( now sadly deceased ), who was a long term Scimitar owner, prior to my ownership it had been refinished in its original mid blue and retains its tan leather interior.

The specification includes heated electric door mirrors and electric windows. The car has front fog lamps, JVC stereo radio/cd player with 4 speakers, stainless steel exhaust system, OZ alloy wheels and a galvanised chassis.

In 2020, prior to my ownership, the car had a full mechanical and electrical refurbishment at Graham Walker. It also had new front springs and a set of handmade aluminium wheel centres. Included are the original Middlebridge centres but the fixing lugs are not secure.

In my ownership the car has had the rear shock absorbers ( provided by QRG Scimitar ) changed, the rear differential front oil seal replaced and all the carpets changed in the original colour by a respected professional trimming company.

The service history documents go back to 1998. Since purchase I have done less than a thousand, very enjoyable, miles, the total mileage currently being 56,400. The car has been kept in a dry garage and remains in fantastic condition. My reason for selling is that I have reached an age where reluctantly I need to reduce my number of 'toys'.
